Do you provide Free Measure and Quotes for your fencing?

Do you supply and install custom fencing and gates?
Yes, we do supply and install custom panels and gates in a variety of styles and materials including glass, powder coated aluminium (pool style and other), timber slatted, palings, picket and stainless steel options. Call us today to discuss what is available and we will organise to come out and meet you at your site.
How high can I build my fence?
This is a question thats answer depends on where the fence is ie. At the front of your property, facing a main road, in between you and a neightbour etc. It’s best to check with your local council before you begin building your fence, to ensure it complies with their rules and regulations as each council can differ eg. Heritage listed area, side vs rear fences etc.
I would like to save money by installing fencing myself. Is it easy to install?
Fencing is relatively easy to install providing you have the right equipment and are aware of the specifications surround fence construction. A small proportion of our customers have a go at installing themselves.
Can you install my fence?

Will you take away the old fence and how much does that cost?
Yes we can take away the old fence. Generally this will cost around $15/metre and is factored into the initial quote you will receive from us.
What styles of fence can I choose from?
We custom design and manufacture our fencing so the choices are endless. If you have a particular fence design in mind or a photo of something you would like, then please let us know. The standard styles of fencing include for pools are Tubular, slat, glass fencing. For boundary fences, we supply paling, picket, slatted, brushwood, steel and more. I have been approached by my neighbour to contribute to half of our shared boundary fence. Am I required to pay half of any type of fence?
The Fences Act (VIC) states that ‘adjoining owners are liable to contribute in equal proportions to the carrying out of fencing work in respect of a dividing fence of a standard not greater than the standard for a sufficient dividing fence’ – Click here to view the Victoria Fences Act 2014 Amendment
What if my neighbour wants a fence over and above what is deemed a standard for a sufficient dividing fence?
You are only required to contribute up to the cost of half of what is deemed the cost of a standard fence. If your neighbour wishes to erect a fence over and above this, they are responsible for the extra cost associated with that fence – Refer to the Victoria Fences Act for further details – Click here to view the Victoria Fences Act 2014 Amendment
Can a brushwood fence be used for pool fencing?
Yes, it can as long as it has a 900mm Non-Climbable Zone where the wires are covered making it compliant with the non-climbable zone pool fencing requirements.
I have a swimming pool and I don’t think my pool fence is compliant. Is this something you can help me with?
Absolutely! Correct Fencing & Timber will send out a team member who will assess your swimming pool fence situation and advise you on what is required to make you fence compliant with current swimming pool fence legislation. As these requirements can sometimes vary between councils, we will also ensure we refer to all council rules as well.
My old brushwood fence has holes in it. Do I need a new fence?
Possibly, however we may be able to repair your fence. Correct Fencing & Timber would come out and inspect your brushwood fence and discuss your options directly with you.
Do you supply brushwood fencing panels?
Yes we do! Correct Fencing & Timber can supply Brushwood fencing panels in a variety of heights, lengths and thickness.
I live in the bayside region. Is powder coated aluminium fencing suitably rust resistant?
Yes, it can be depending on the powder coated finish applied AND it must be maintained and cleaned on a regular basis to remove any salt residue.
Do you accept Credit Card payments?
Yes we do. We accept VISA or Matercard. We do charge a 1% Credit Card surcharge.
With Steel fencing, do you only install colourbond?
We match up with an existing fence that is not Colorbond. We can install other systems such as GramLine, Lysaght or Stratco if required.
Is there a waiting period for supply of the Colorbond fencing product?
Depending on the availabilty of stock, there may be a short wait of approximately 3 days.
How much does steel colorbond fencing cost per metre
Approximately $80 per metre supplied and installed.
What heights are Colorbond fences available?
Anything up to 2.4 metres.
What is the length of a standard Colorbond fence panel?
